Plan your day in advance. Establish tomorrow’s agenda at the end of each work day so that you will be fully prepared. Ending your day by making a list for the next day is a smart idea. With your tasks listed for you, you can get down to business right away.

If you’are always the last one out of the door, it helps to set deadlines for yourself. Procrastinating only lets stress pile up and things get worse from there. But if you make deliberate progress everyday for tasks with a deadline, you’ll do better work and feel more relaxed.

If you aren’t managing your time right, make sure you analyze how your current process is going. Figure out why some projects seem more challenging for you than others. By analyzing your day, you can figure out what you are doing right and what you are doing wrong so you know where to make improvements.

A lot of your time will be working in the important/urgent quadrant. Be sure to make time for the tasks that are important but not urgent to make sure they don’t become urgent.
